Success Tips - Coffee & Cookies Fundraising Program
This could be one of the most powerful Fundraising programs ever created, but if you don't have a sales plan in place to ensure your success, you may never know. As with most things, the success (or falure) of your fundraiser will rest on your preperation.
Get a show of hands
-Check with your group members (and parents), and see who will commit to selling a Bag before you place your order.
Have a fall-back plan
-Fresh Roasted Coffee & Gourmet Cookie Mix should be a very easy combination to sell (especiially since there are only 8 products in each bag.). However, if a few of your members have product left over, how will you sell it? One way is to ask participants who've already sold a grab bag if they can sell one more. Most should be able to.
Coach your members
-How can they sell the product quickly? That's easy. Participants should ask their parents, friend's parents, and relatives to purchase. They should ask their parents to take the bag to work. Church, scout meetings, sports games, etc... Pretty much, wherever people gather together, is a good place to sell.
Group Effort
-Not everyone has the resources or moxie to approach people and ask them to buy. Get a few members together, and set up a table outside your local supermarket. Many shoppers have coffee on their shopping lists, so selling it should be easy, and since you're working together, it's a lot less intimidating. |
